One year after we last met with the survivors featured in “The Men Who Killed Me,” co-editor Anne-Marie de Brouwer returned to Kigali in July 2009 and met with 15 of the 17 survivors featured in the book.
In July 2008, Sandra and Anne-Marie interviewed Adela and Jeanette, Rwandan survivors of the genocide, for the book. Jessie Gakwandi and Doris Uwicyeza assisted with the translation between English and Kinyarwanda.
