Marie Louise is one of the women featured in our book and her portrait will be on the cover. She is a woman of amazing strength and courage, having survived a church massacre during the genocide in which 300 people perished. Here she is with her newborn, the youngest of her four children, who was born in the spring of 2008. Mama Lambert, a Solace Ministries staff member who helped coordinate the survivors for the book, can also be seen working in her office.
