In the days following the launch of “The Men Who Killed Me,” the book and the photo-exhibition have received press coverage in different publications:
The Globe and Mail ran a “Picture Perfect” spread on “The Men Who Killed Me”.
“The Men Who Killed Me” is the cover story of the Winter 2009 issue of Herizons, Canada’s largest feminist magazine.
David Jager of NOW magazine reviewed the photo exhibition at the Craig Scott Gallery, describing it as a “sensitively modulated look at each woman’s continuing struggle to piece herself together after the atrocity.”
Leah Sandals of The National Post also reviewed the photo exhibition at the Craig Scott Gallery, and described it as “a means of putting faces, both smiling and solemn, to anonymous news headlines.”
In Vancouver, Sandra discussed “The Men Who Killed Me” on the Fanny Kiefer Studio 4 Show (B.C.), Global TV BC Noon News Hour with Randene Neill (B.C.), and on the Christy Clark Show on CKNW Radio (B.C.).
