Anne-Marie and Samer meet with some of the Rwandan survivors whose testimonials will be showcased in our book. Here we meet Jeanette Uwimana, Faustin Kayihura, Marie Claire Uwera, Marie Jeanne Murekatete and Adela Mukamusonera. They are all beneficiaries of Solace Ministries, our Rwandan partner in the book.  At Solace, survivors receive food, trauma counselling, medical assistance, including antiretroviral treatment if they are living with HIV, and health education. Survivors also receive mutual support from each other, as many meet at Solace to share their experiences and work through their trauma on an ongoing basis.
